Rabbi Rhodes hails from Los Angeles, California.

He received Semicha from Rabbi Leib Bakst, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Ateres Mordechai in Detoit, Michigan.

After a long stint as lecturer in Yeshivas Ohr Somayach in Jerusalem, Rabbi Rhodes assumed the position of Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Torah Mitzion in Long Island, New York.
